This golden hour family session in Prosper, Texas was an absolute dream! I always keep an eye out for locations that offer the perfect mix of natural beauty and soft, dreamy backdrops, and this new location has quickly become a new favorite! The combination of the tall, flowy grass and warm sunlight filtering through the trees, made for a perfect setting. However, it was this amazing family that really made this session so special!

I first met this sweet family two years ago when I photographed their girls during my Black and White Personality Portraits at my studio! I was honored when they reached back out to me about documenting their family photos! It means so much to me and I love watching families grow over time. There’s something incredibly rewarding about documenting these small but significant moments—the way kids change and families become even more connected over time.

Prosper Texas Family Session

From the very beginning, this session was filled with fun, love, and so much joy. Dad was absolutely beaming over his girls, and it was the sweetest thing to witness. The way they giggled, played, and snuggled together made for the most genuine and heartfelt images. The oldest daughter even took charge, asking for different poses and showing off her fun personality—which I loved!

However, the mother-daughter matching dresses were the icing on the cake for me! Their soft, whimsical style fit the scene perfectly. Coordinating outfits can really elevate a session, and these dresses complemented the natural setting so beautifully.

The sisters were also adorable and so sweet. I love capturing siblings and being able to document their bond together. I know they all will cherish these photos together in the years to come. We ended the evening with this beautiful family of four snuggled up close, sitting on a blanket in the grass as the sun set in the distance. It was such a wonderful session from beginning to end!
