Little Elm In-Home Family Session | Murphy

I love that I have the opportunity to see and photograph the same families over time. As a photographer, it is my passion to capture the memories, moments, and stories of my clients. Photography allows me to freeze time and provide treasured mementos that will continue to be enjoyed.  In my recent Little Elm In-home family session, I captured the Mark Family and their dog Murphy.

This wonderful family is one that I have captured for a few years now. I love that their sweet dog, Murphy, always tags along as he is the baby of the family. This in-home session came about when a close friend of the Marks contacted me. As a gift, they wanted to schedule an In-home session for them. Murphy was coming home from the vet hospital and wasn’t doing well. By the way, what a sweet friend the Marks’ have!

Celebrating Murphy with an in-home Family Session

So, I came home from vacation and headed to the Marks’ home the next day. I know how much Murphy means to them and I understand the special role dogs play in our lives. Seriously, there is a bond and connection that is beautiful and special.  And that is something to capture and celebrate.

I am incredibly thankful that I made it to their home when I did. Unfortunately, the Marks had to say goodbye to Murphy just a few days later. He is already missed. But, I’m positive that Murphy lived every day in the love of his owners. And, I’m sure he would agree that he was blessed with the best home, care, and family that he, or any dog, could ask for.  With that knowledge, I hope these photos bring comfort to the Marks for many years. And, I hope they always remember their fur baby who brought endless joy and companionship to their lives. I know I will.
