The Lumen Room Family Portraits

I LOVE finding the perfect location for my families and their sessions. When Theresa reached out to schedule a family session, she knew exactly what she was looking for in photos. I gave her a few options for possible locations, but when she spotted the pink couch at the Lumen Room, she knew that was the one! I love when clients have a vision for their photos and I am able to make it a reality for them! I’m still obsessed with their Lumen Room family portraits and can’t wait for you to see them today!

If you’ve never been, the Lumen Room in Plano is seriously an amazing place for photos with the white walls and floors. They have multiple options to choose from including, several couches, chairs and even a bed, which is great for a little variety.

During our session, their two little ones, Tristan and Aria were so stinkin’ adorable! Sweet Aria clung to her Mama and was a little unsure of me and my camera at first. She eventually warmed up to me once we brought out the snacks! (If you have young kids, you know that having kid friendly snacks on hand is a MUST!) Tristan was all smiles for the camera! Every time I tried to get Tristan’s attention he would tell me his name was “Hot Rod!” He was seriously so sweet and funny.

Michael’s parents and siblings came along for some extended family photos as well! I know how important it is to have images of your whole family, but I also understand the difficulty of getting everyone together. Balancing everyone’s different schedules is no easy task! I am thrilled that they were able to be a part of our session!

I love seeing grandparents light up as they hold their grandchildren! Grandma is beaming in these photos as she stands with Tristan and holds Aria. Capturing the generations of a family is also very important and creates a beautiful family keepsake. I had so much fun with the Navarro Family during their Lumen Room family portraits!
