I have been getting to spend time with so many newborns lately and I love it! In-home newborn sessions are so fun and sweet, but they are also comfortable and easy for the family as they welcome this new little life into their lives.

Why I Love In-Home Newborn Sessions

Getting everyone out the door on time, dressed in coordinating clothes and most importantly, all happy, is not easy. I get it. But, with in-home sessions, you can skip these worries because I come to you! You are in a space where all you have to worry about is being yourself. You have everything you need to keep your family and particularly your newborn comfortable and cared for. So don’t stress to much about the perfect poses, I promise the moments are much better!

In-home sessions are also a special time for me cause I get to know my clients in a different way. I see how you just live with each other instead of posing you perfectly in an area that you’ve never been to.

Photographing Past Families

I especially love newborn sessions when it is past families that I have already had the chance to photograph. It is so special to me that I am chosen time and time again to document families as they grow. When Melissa was newly pregnant, I got the chance to take photos of them with their extended family. I loved getting to meet back with them and document this time of them bringing home their sweet Penelope Rose!

The Sweetest Nursery for a Baby Girl

We spent most of our time in her sweet nursery. Its neutral colors with pops of pink made for the perfect backdrop for this newborn session. I particularly loved the crib they chose and the braid that went around the inside! You could tell that no detail was missed when planning for her space.
