In-Home Texas Newborn Portraits

I’m excited to share my latest In-Home Texas Newborn Portraits with you today! This sweet mama reached out when newborn, Jianna, was almost a month old! She was older than the normal newborns I photograph, but just as sweet! Newborns, whether they are one week or one month old, are precious and Jianna was no exception! I just loved her curly hair and beautiful skin tone!

For this classic in-home Texas Newborn Session we created a dreamy setting with light pink, white, and other neutral hues. Jianna looked adorable in her dusty pink outfit and matching bow laying in the woven bassinet. I love the classic, timeless look of Jianna’s Newborn Session.

During our in-home lifestyle newborn session, Jianna’s amazing big sister watched lovingly close by wanting to get into the shots. This newborn session was reserved just for the baby though.

Little Jianna loves her pacifier! She did not want to give it up. It was a bit of a waiting game as I needed to make sure she was fully asleep before trying to take her pacifier out … very slowly, of course! There were a few times that I didn’t wait long enough and she woke up instantly the second the pacifier left her lips!

After swaddling Jianna snuggly in an extra soft, white swaddle, she was good to go. She slept soundly after that, all cozy! While photographing newborns requires patience, I will never grow tired of capturing their angelic smiles and subtle movements as they sleep. I especially loved her big yawns as she stretched out!
