When I started booking my fall mini sessions, I already knew the exact location to shoot: Frisco Field! Frisco Field is my FAVORITE place for family photos and mini sessions. Seriously, spring or fall, it always looks beautiful. It is the perfect location featuring walking trails and beautiful trees. And then tucked away behind a park with walking trails is this hidden gem, Frisco Commons Park. I’m thrilled to share these Frisco Commons Park mini sessions with you today!
Frisco Common Park Mini Sessions
All the families were dressed wonderfully for fall. Their color choices, coordination, all of it was spot on. The Mobley Family booked me not realizing that my nephew plays football with their son. Small world! The kids were great and loved the camera! I loved mom’s leopard dress and the daughters dressy shirt and skirt. The whole family looked classy and beautiful! The photos of mom and dad dancing are so sweet!
Next up during the Frisco Commons Park mini sessions was the Seargeant Family. They are an adorable family. I was excited when I found out they were bringing their dog along! The dog was very photogenic and clearly a little ham! Big brother absolutely loves his sister! He was so sweet and gentle trying to carry her the whole time! I love the picture of him holding her as they both are beaming. The sibling bond is beautiful! Little sister was attempting to master her independence, crawling around Frisco Commons Park and even taking a few steps holding hands with mom!Â
Fall Mini Session Inspiration
The Icenhower family were up next. Mom, dad, and son were super sweet! I loved mom’s yellow sweater. It was perfect for a fall mini session! As their son was older, we had a nice chat about how lovely it is to have older kids that listen and smile for the camera! He really did follow all the cues perfectly. I could tell just from meeting him that he was a great, kind kid.
The mini sessions ended with the Hoye family! We had fun and let the girls run around! I loved capturing them in their element, having fun and exploring. Watching kids be kids doing what they love is one of my favorite things to photograph! I’m also obsessed with their matching jean jackets! So cute! We were able to wrangle them in for a few family portraits with the changing leaves in the background, which was beautiful. The Hoye family was a joy to photograph.
It was a wonderful day for mini sessions at Frisco Commons Park! I had so much fun capturing all these amazing families. I’m looking forward to capturing fall family minis again this year! Make sure you book your spot early!
