This was my first year doing Bluebonnet mini sessions in Frisco, TX and man, do Texans LOVE their bluebonnets. I don’t blame them – these flowers are simply gorgeous. And, they make the best backdrop for spring mini sessions. It was so much fun capturing these photos!! It makes me so excited that spring is finally here. And now, I’m sharing them with you so you can enjoy this beautiful Texas spring moment!

Bluebonnet Mini Sessions in Frisco, TX

Our sessions were over a few days and I shot through a variety of settings. We had sessions at sunrise, sunset, cloudy days and sunny ones. It was amazing to watch all of the families play together and enjoy the flowers. Everyone was SO happy during our sessions, which made my job even easier. I’m serious: folks around here really LOVE these flowers!! Most families just wanted the kids in their photos, but I was able to convince a few parents to jump in. I think it’s so special when they do! You deserve to have updated family photos, and what better time of year than the spring with the bluebonnets?

I was lucky enough to even get my own husband to snap a few photos of me and my kids while we were there. I just couldn’t resist! Honestly, I wish these beautiful bluebonnets were around all year long! Thank you to everyone who made these bluebonnet mini sessions a success this year. I loved getting to work with each and every one of you and I can’t wait for next year!
