I always look forward to seeing the Covey Family! They are good friends of ours, as Summit and I once worked together. I’ve had the great honor to photograph all of Charlotte and Grayson’s photos from those first moments as newborns, annual Christmas photos, and everything in between. I have watched these two kiddos grow up behind my lens. They are full of personality and brimming with cuteness.  This year’s gorgeous Little Elm family portraits were just as amazing as always, thanks to Brookielynn’s Bungalow and her gorgeous van!!

Little Elm Family Portraits

We spent the morning outside for this family session.  For their session, we rented an amazing Volkswagon bus. It has this retro vibe that I was thrilled to incorporate in their photo session. The entire family was dressed to impress! Mom’s burnt orange dress complimented the bus and overall look of the session. I’m also slightly obsessed with her black hat featured in a few of the photos!  I’m glad we were able to snag a few photos of mom and dad together sitting in the bus. 

The kids had fun crawling all over the seats and hugging each other while sitting in the back of the bus.  My favorite picture of Charlotte and Grayson might be of them popping up from the passenger side window!  I love how the door’s window frame perfectly frames the two of them. 

Sweet, Charlotte loved the camera! I couldn’t get over her white romper, headband, and stylish black shoes. (I wonder if they have a pair in my size?!) Charlotte is an adorable little lady and an amazing big sister to Grayson! 

Also can we talk about Grayson’s blue eyes and ornery, sweet grin?! I was smitten with him! He enjoyed running all over the place and definitely burned off some energy!  He required lots of bribes to get him to sit for some of the photos, but we definitely accomplished our goal, because the photos turned out beautifully!
