Erwin Park Family Photos

I am in love with the super sweet family, the Ferrers! We had a wonderful time capturing their Erwin Park Family Photos in Mckinney TX. Before their session, mom and I planned everything out. I loved going through the planning process with mom. They had just moved to Texas from California so they weren’t too familiar with the area. I am also from CA, so we had a lot in common!

Leading up to their family session, the weather was calling for a lot of rain. I kept a close eye on the forecast as we were all concerned we would need to reschedule. However, the day of our session, the weather was perfect!

First we captured family shots of this beautiful family of five. Big brother and sister are twins! They were so fun and amazing with their little sister, Quinnley. Quinnley was turning one so after the family photos we captured her cake smash! The entire family was styled beautifully and I loved their amazing outfits. I loved big sister’s animal print dress that was complemented by her twin brother’s dark maroon shirt.

Quinnley’s outfit during her cake smash was my favorite! She looked like a little princess with her pink tulle dress and flower headpiece. Watching her dig into that cake was the highlight of our session! She was apprehensive at first, but once she got a taste, she was all in!

The pictures of her with icing all over her hands and arms, and even in her hair, are my absolute favorite! Quinnley definitely enjoyed her birthday dessert, and we all had fun laughing and admiring how cute she was!
