The Martin Family graciously invited me into their world to capture their in-home newborn session. As a Dallas newborn photographer, I love to capture couples’ new journey into parenthood! Peter, the dad, is a pilot. Shirley, the mama, is a flight attendant. Welcoming Bennett, into their lives is their biggest adventure yet!

We’ll capture your baby with all of those special keepsakes and treasures you’ll want to hang on to for future generations. Sweet baby Bennett was able to sleep soundly throughout his entire newborn session. At almost one month old, he did incredible!

Styling Your In-Home Newborn Session

Shirley styled the family for their newborn pictures. They looked amazing! I love the dresses she chose for herself. Bennett was absolutely adorable in the coordinating outfits she planned for him. I always recommend selecting timeless pieces for your session. You want to wear outfits that lean more neutral or minimal. You want to love to look at and display your newborn session for years to come.

With an in-home lifestyle newborn session, you don’t have to swaddle your baby for their photos unless you want to. The environment in more suited for baby and posing is a lot more natural. You and your baby get to be yourselves and I’m present to capture the wonder of it all.

Furry Siblings are Always Welcome

Another perk of choosing an in-home session is that no family member is forgotten. Your furry friends are always welcome to join in. When Shirley asked to include their dog in their photos, it was an easy yes! We got so many good shots of Bennett and their adorable pup, Jet.

Pets are such an important part of your family. They are your little one’s protector and friend. Having them in your newborn pictures will allow you to watch your little one grow alongside your first baby of the family. You will love remembering the way they were together during the early stages of your baby’s life.
