I had the most fun capturing the sweetness of James in my recent Little Elm 6-Month Milestone Session at my in-home studio. James was a little shy at first, but once I started snapping photos and talking to him he warmed up to me! He loved all the attention! James was such a sweet little guy full of smiles, squeals, and giggles! 

Little Elm 6-Month Milestone In-Home Studio Session

6 month milestone Sessions are my FAVORITE! This is such a fun stage for a newborn! They are able to sit up on their own, but are still a bit wobbly and unsure.  Baby’s at this age are also very active as they explore the world around them! They are naturally curious and growing in their independence. I love that you also start to see a little bit more of the baby’s personality!  This was definitely true for James as he crawled around playing with a few toys mom brought along! 

Mom brought his favorite board book, stuffed animal, and his wooden name puzzle.  It was so fun to watch him interact with his favorite items. I found out that James only likes the “E” in his name puzzle! How funny is that?! It was hilarious watching him play with the puzzle and every time, he would go straight for “E”! 

Mom looked gorgeous in her white dress! I love the jean colored blue outfit she chose for James! He also sported a pair of white shorts for part of our session, which was adorable! I could look at his sweet gummy smile all day! It was such a joy to capture James for his Little Elm 6-Month Milestone Session! 

Milestone portraits are the perfect way to capture and document the many stages of a newborn. Babies change so much in their first year!
